We are proud of the organizations and programs that we help support. Take a look at a few of grants these wonderful organizations have received from the Jamie and Denise Jacob Family Foundation.

$50,000 to implement the Trauma Smart program in Head Start classrooms, which will teach children, parents and educators coping strategies and techniques to handle complex behaviors caused by trauma.

$30,000 for Mosaic Summer Camp for almost 200 youth, ages 8-12, in 4 one week-long sessions. The youth participate in theater, vocal music, dance/creative movement and arts and crafts.

$25,000 to support academic and behavior intervention staff and materials for the 2018-2019 school year.

Recurring grant of 5 years for $35,000 each year to use towards general operating expenses.

Committed $100,000 of general operating support to help Vision to Learn provide free eye exams and glasses to children in Detroit.

$80,000 to hire a development director.

$50,000 for the digital marketing campaign of this network of teen friendly reproductive health care providers throughout Detroit.

$5,000 general operating funds to support their work in advocating for equal health care, economic and educational opportunities for Michigan residents.

$30,000 for Rise N’ Shine summer camp.

$25,000 general operating grant to support their work to provide a high quality mathematics education and mentoring program to Detroit youth.

3 year grant of $55,000 per year to retain a Mobility Coach for the Passport to Self Sufficiency Program, which provides coaching and mentoring to families, particularly parents/caregivers, to move them towards self-sufficiency with a focus on stable housing.

$150,000 grant to be awarded over 3 years to support the Writer-In Residence program which is 22 weekly in-classroom workshops with a professional writer.

$70,000 over two years to support college counseling and college liaison efforts to support students all the way to college graduation.
